Your Windows Like Drapes And Curtains Too

Curtains may be custom made or they can be ready made. Ready made curtains are more convenient because they offer the ease of being used by simply hanging them from a track rail or a pole with little effort and they are generally provided with a lining, while some come along with accessories that go to include matching tie-backs and cushion covers to provide a completely coordinated look. It’s a wonderful things for all who need affordable window treatments.

They are available in a variety of sizes that are suitable for most standard window measurements and usually are offered in different widths from 44inches, 46 inches, 54 inches and 90 inches.  You get them in varying drop lengths of 54, 72, or 90 inches that suits most of the window treatments.

Eyelet top curtains are simply threaded on to a pole or rail through the eyelets and require no hooks. This makes them very easy to remove for laundering, as there are no fussy or awkward little fittings to have to get rid of before you either wash or dry-clean your curtains. They’re much like linen drapes.   The advantage of this style is that as the natural drape of the curtains is controlled by the distance between the eyelets, you may afford to have curtains that don’t look straight when drawn by having a broader width so that they retain their folds on being pulled together, but this may add to the cost of the fabric because of the extra length required for getting the desired effect.

The functioning of Tab Top curtains is similar to those with eye lets with a loop of the material at its top been stitched to the main body of the curtain thru narrow or broad bands or they may be ribbon-like tie tops for light weight sheer curtains with a pole slipping thru them. And sun blocking draperies are inexpensive. Curtains with pencil pleats have a heading tape that can be drawn as tightly or as loosely as you desire for the required breadth of pleat if you need to make minor adjustments to fit your track; the tighter the tape is drawn the narrower the pleat will be. Having secured the drawstrings on the heading tape, the curtains continue to maintain the pleats when they are drawn closed.
